Viet Ha Tran es una fotógrafa de bellas artes nacida en Vietnam y con sede en España conocida por sus fotografías emocionalmente densas e interminables de mujeres. Su arte enfatiza la fantasía y la imaginación como fuente de experiencia estética. En lugar de tomar fotos, intenta pintar las emociones de las mujeres, los sueños interiores, la intimidad, la poesía y la filosofía con su cámara. Como resultado, sus fotos, además de tener un aire de pinturas clásicas, captan un momento efímero de emociones femeninas que fluyen a través del río del tiempo. Como la realidad juega al escondite con la fantasía, es un reflejo de esos estados de ánimo volátiles grabados en el estado permanente de cambio.
Comenzando la fotografía en 2013, las obras de Viet Ha han sido publicadas en más de 90 diferentes revistas y periódicos de todo el mundo. Fue semi-finalista en el Concurso Nacional de Fotografía Digital 2013 y obtuvo Menciones Honoríficas en Categorías de Bellas Artes de los Premios Internacionales de Fotografía 2013, Los Ángeles. Fue invitada por Vogue Italia a fotografiar para Vogue Talents Shooting a principios de 2014. Más tarde en 2014, sus obras aparecieron en Brighton Photo Biennial, el festival de fotografía más grande del Reino Unido.

Viet Ha Tran is a Vietnam-born and Spain-based fine art photographer known for her emotionally dense and endlessly compelling photographs of women. Her art emphasizes fantasy and imagination as a source of aesthetic experience. Instead of taking photos, she tries to paint women’s emotions, inner dreams, intimacy, poetry and philosophy with her camera. As a result, her photos, apart from having an air of classic paintings, capture an ephemeral moment of feminine emotions flowing through the river of time. As reality plays hide-and-seek with fantasy, it’s a reflection of those volatile moods etched in the permanent state of change.
Starting photography in 2013, Viet Ha’s artworks have been published in over 90 different magazines and newspapers around the world. She was semi-finalist in the Spanish National Digital Photography Contest 2013, and won Honorable Mentions in Fine Art Categories of the International Photography Awards 2013, Los Angeles. She was invited by Vogue Italia to photograph for Vogue Talents Shooting in early 2014. Later in 2014, her works appeared at Brighton Photo Biennial, UK’s largest photography festival.
At present, her works are collected by a wide range of collectors around the world including galleries, art dealers, luxury hotels, and individual collectors.
