Your journey with my painting begins where mine ends.
Painting has always been a journey, a venture into experimenting and learning for me. I usually begin with no or very little concept in mind and just let the painting evolve on its own, as the details and the forming composition determine the very next move.
It is a dialogue of colors, balance and composition and it is also exploring where the limits of artistic freedom lay, if there are any. When the story runs right, the painting becomes the source of its own life, which for me is a truly astonishing and uplifting experience.
What you can see on the canvas is the moment where this story of self-inspiration stopped for me – and begins for you, the viewer.
